I’ve always been drawn to water, and having grown up in a landlocked state, I gravitate to the ocean.  The horizon pulls me, whether I can see it or not.  Over the years, as significant tragedy has visited, and treasured friends have generously shared their seaside Surf City home with me during unbearable times, and the new love of my life ferried me "down the shore," the salt and negative ions released by the waves always serve to soothe me.
